This self-dialing modem lets your PLC alert you about an alarm condition using a standard phone line. A discrete output is used to trigger this smart modem to call a pre-stored number and identify itself to the computer on the other end. The modem forms a transparent link between the PLC's system / programming port and your existing HMI and / or PLC support software.
